About My Station.
My Portable Station, which is approx. 1000ft above sea level.
I am 26 SD 303, My name is Tony. I live in the south west part of the UK. My county is Devon and my nearest city is Exeter. I have been using radio for about 14 years, I started with CB and then moved onto 11mtr ssb about 10 years ago. I was in the Alfa tango group from 1993 until 2000 when I joined Sugar Delta International. My job is electronics engineer working with mailnly consumer products eg . T.V , Video, Hi-Fi and of course satelitte recievers. I have also been playing with computers, I like to learn about new things that give me a challenge!! I am currently thinking of starting to experiment with transmission of data via 11mtr band, but it depends what time I have!!.

Microphone: Yaesu MD100A8X and Astatic D-104
Amplifier: RM500
Antenna: Imax 2000 vert, HB9CV at home, and 4 ele yagi portable Wire Dipole (standby!!)

I also like to watch Oval Racing, mainly BRISCA F2 stockcars, but I enjoy any close, competetive racing. I have travelled to most circuits in the UK and would like to attend some meetings in Holland, when I have the time.
I have a dog called 'Ruskie', he is four years old, I have had him since he was a puppy. He is mad, I sometimes cannot believe what he gets up to.
